Apple Meat Loaf
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups prepared stuffing mix
- 2 cups finely chopped apples
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 large onion, minced
- 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 3/4 cup catsup
Combine all ingredients; mix thoroughly. Pack into greased loaf
pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Banana Meat Loaf
- 1 pound ground round
- 3/4 cup mashed banana (not too ripe)
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and form into a loaf.
Place in baking dish with 2 tablespoons of water, or put aluminum
foil in dish and omit water. Bake at 350 degrees F for about
1 hour.
