Chicken-Broccoli Pie
Yield: 8 servings
- 2 c Shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
- 1 1/2 c Cut-up cooked chicken
- 2/3 c Finely chopped onion
- 1 pk (10 oz) frozen chopped Broccoli, thawed and Drained
- 1 1/3 c Milk
- 3 Eggs
- 3/4 c Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 ts Pepper
- 1/8 ts Dried thyme leaves
- 1 c Shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the 2 cups of cheddar cheese,
chicken, onions and broccoli
in a greased pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2 inch. Beat remaining ingredients
except cheese with wire whisk or
hand beater until well mixed. Pour into plate. Bake until knife
inserted in center comes out clean, (25 to 30
minutes). Top with remaining cheese. Bake just until melted,
(1 or 2 minutes). Cool 5 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
Wagon Wheel Sausage Pie
Yield: 6 servings
- 12 oz Sausage, little sizzlers
- 1/2 c Green onions, chopped
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 1/3 c Milk
- 3 c Hash browns, loose, frozen
- 2 tb Milk
- 1/4 ts Pepper
- 3/4 c Bisquick
- 2 Egg
- Cook sausages and drain.
Grease 10 inch pie plate. Spread potatoes in pie plate. Mix
together next 5 ingredients and spread over potatoes. Arrange
sausages in spoke fashion on top. Mix together bisquick, milk
and eggs. Pour around sausages. Bake uncovered at 400 F for
25 to 30 minutes.
